Teatime discipleship by Sally Clarkson was a beautiful reminder to me that discipleship should permeate to the center of our lives. In Teatime Discipleship, Clarkson invites you into her life and home and shows how hospitality and discipleship can be practically woven into your own life. She gently reminds the reader of spiritual truths and of how discipleship has blessed her own life and how it can be a blessing in your own. Throughout the book, she has sprinkled her favorite teatime recipes for you to try. When I first was flipping through Teatime Discipleship and chanced upon a recipe I let out a little shriek of delight.
Teatime Discipleship is filled with beautiful photography and is a delight to the eyes and to the heart. Clarkson doesn’t just tell how discipleship and hospitality can be cultivated in one’s life, rather she leads by example with many personal stories to guide the reader into a lifestyle of daily discipleship.
Through Teatime Discipleship, Sally Clarkson reminded me what a blessing it is to bless others through discipleship and hospitality. Teatime Discipleship has spurred me on to continue pursuing discipling relationships and it encouraged me to continue onward even when the going is tough. And also to keep plenty of tea on hand, because that helps everything.
